But first, we’ll provide you with a little insight so you can get excited for this upcoming release.

In this closer look, we’ll focus on the new design implementations, the power, and the sophisticated features that drivers can expect. By the time you finish reading, you’ll be asking us constantly about the 2018 Acura TLX release date. Let’s get started.

2018 Acura TLX Vehicle Performance

Fans of the 2017 Acura TLX will be happy to know that the 2018 outing is carrying the torch. The 2018 Acura TLX will feature two distinct engine options: a 2.4L 4-cylinder and a 3.5L V6. These models come with 2-wheel drive, but drivers can opt for the Acura TLX A-Spec trim that features SH-AWD® (Superior Handling All-Wheel Drive™) to provide exceptional handling, allowing for a quick response while executing evasive maneuvers.

2018 Acura TLX Redesign

The 2018 Acura TLX is redesigned to accommodate the daily sedan driver and the motorists who are looking for more bite with their mode of transportation. The Acura TLX A-Spec features a variety of design implementations to not only boost performance, but also give the sedan a more aggressive and sporty appearance. This model features a unique front fascia, aggressive side door sills, round LED fog lights, and dual exhaust finishers and a decklid spoiler to act as a visual representation of the vehicle’s impressive abilities.

As for the 2018 Acura TLX interior, drivers have the option of exclusive leather seats with additional bolstering and a thick-rimmed sport steering wheel. The interior features a brushed aluminum trim, but the Acura TLX A-Spec offers red or black leather with Alcantara® door and seat inserts. The alluring nature of the interior is merely amplified by the ambient lighting.

New Technology Features

A new Acura feature, debuting with the 2018 Acura TLX, is the near dual-screen On Demand Multi-Use Display™ (ODMD) 2.0. This updated infotainment screen supports both Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, as well as the new SiriusXM 2.0 system. The updated ODMD 2.0 system features new software to provide the driver with quicker response times and features that are easily accessible. Drivers who opt for the AcuraWatch™ technology suite will enjoy the benefits of a Collision Mitigation Braking System™, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
